I’m Byron Sanders, a lifelong advocate for education, equity, and economic development in Dallas. As a proud product of Dallas ISD, former President and CEO of Big Thought, a national voice for youth advocacy, and the son of a teacher, I’ve spent my career working to close opportunity gaps for young people and create systems that allow every student to thrive. Now, as a husband, father of two, and candidate, I’m as committed as ever to ensuring District 5 students have the tools and resources they need to maximize their potential.
